cant get it adjusted,without it walking when lever is pulled in

You use the manual for thickness and check clutch stack height and follow the directions.

Clutch cable adjustment may not be right

thers no way I put adjuster plate on backwards is ther,acording to diagram it looks rite.but you read there 30 years old

all had to do with a + 6 after market clutch cable and finding the spot.found cure.take off cable,now this is ol 86 fxstc whitch cable goes to lever over tranny.pin the lever back out 3/4 lock down.put cable back on presto.ajust ,this time plenny adjustment avalible....
