I'm wanting to hook up an auxiliary fuel tank on my 99 Road King (fuel injected) guidance please!

Trouble

Buy one of those gas cans that's made to sit in the back corner of your saddlebag. I believe they hold a gallon.
You can try and make something idiot-proof, but those idiots are so darn clever

tie into the crossover line
put a valve and quick disconnect on the aux tank. make sure you can reach the valve while riding the bike. keep the tank higher than the crossover line and it will gravity feed. do not leave the valve on with a full tank of fuel . it will run out the factory overflow. put a overflow on the neck of the aux tank also.
i mounted mine in the passenger seat.

What Stroker said, but you can mount the tank lower if you add an electric fuel pump to pump in from the Aux tank to the main tank.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

A friend bought a Champion sidecar for his Ultra years ago. One of the accessories available from Champion was a gas tank and fuel line system. The tank went into one of the saddlebags. I'm not sure of the cost or what all is involved. Call Champion.
