The passenger floorboards on my Road Glide are always in the way, especially when my wife is on the back. Are there any good options for moving them back or out of the way?

Define "In the way"

I know they tend to hit the back of my legs when they are down and I'm walking the bike back out of the garage or a parking spot. I just flip them up. I'm guessing that's not what your talking about though.

Harley has an adjustable mount kit, I think about $350.
Look it up on their web site.

Over the years my OL has gotten used to flipping them up with her feet if im about to back up

If you don't do a lot of touring you could replace them with a streetglide peg set up.

I have a 30 inch inseam and they hit the backs of my legs even when they are up. When my wife is on they are even worse.

I put Streetglide pegs on mine as Phil suggested. An added benefit is I can hook my heels on them to change position and give my legs and butt a period of relief on long rides.
I'm starting to believe my body is gonna outlast my mind.

You could use my solution: Take them off & leave the wife home.....lol

Why would full power shifts with a Pingle and a shot of nitrous scare her?   :idunno:
