The good or bad in dealing with BikerBob's HD?  I have to get a new case and he offers it for 20% off list.

The few times I have dealt with them, the prices were excellent, with painfully slow delivery. I would still use them if time is not a factor.

If your gonna go through a Dealer, this is one of the best IMO:

I always found Zanotti's to ultimately be the cheapest.  I tried to use Jenny but her prices when all totalled shipping etc were always higher.  John at Zanotti's has always been helpful.  my younger brother used bikerbobs and was always happy.

Zannotti's  I would not buy a "Potty mouth" from Jenny- attitude sucks, shipping off the chart.  JME

Have used Jenny and Zanotti.  Nothing but good to say.

WRT Biker Bob's - tried to do business with them years ago.  Found them neither helpful nor knowledgeable.

Thanks all!

As luck would have it, I stopped by Carolina HD today and was talking to my friends in the parts dept.  They told me next Saturday was 21% off all parts, so needless to say, I went a head and ordered a replacement case with them.

Biker bobs used to be motown harley and they marked up everything even higher than the suggested retail prices in the catalog. Not sure what the name change entailed, new owners/a new start to try and repair the damage they had done like giving people their deposits back that had been waiting a year on new bikes because they knew they could mark them up higher than the origional negotiated prices... this was back when you had to wait in line for new harleys. Anyone know if it is new ownership now?

Tre'_09UC,

I have been dealing with Jenni for many years and will be the first to call BS on your post.  You got to have it together to deal with someone that is fast paced.

I did not have good luck with Jenni either.  I emailled the list of what I was looking for several times and received no response.  I ordered from Chicago HD.  The next time I was ready to order I did the exact same thing.  Never received a response that time either.  I decided I didn't need to do business with them.  Zannoti's and Chicago HD allow you to order off the website which is more convenient for me.  I have heard other people say they had the same problem when they sent emails to Jenni.  On the old site, dedicated customers of hers acknowledged this problem and said people should call instead of email.  I suppose I could call, but email is much easier for me and I figure if you won't respond to my email, my business is not very important to you.  I'm sure I don't do enough business with them to make a difference but it is poor customer service.  Maybe this has changed since she moved to a different dealership but I do not feel like it is my duty to try again after I had bad experiences twice.

I've been ordering parts for 5 bikes in the last 5 years. My own 2 and my friend's bikes. Usually we try together to save on shipping.
I have dealt w/Jenni and her 20% off, Zanotti and 20% off and lately Lake Shore H-D from Libertyville, IL and their 20%
As you can see the 20% is the same. The big difference is  "CUSTOMERE SERVICE"
Zanotti and Lake Shore have the best customer services. Shipping is the lowest in Lake Shore H-D and Zanotti is the fastest shipping your stuff. Zanotti keeps you fully informed with a tracking number so you know when your order is coming.

Hi Renegade,
Is the problem with the cases related to the lifter problems that we had? I know there was some damage from the lifters wanting to rotate in the lifter bore on mine. Tell TR I said hello and if my health permits I would like to get my bike tuned sometime soon if they can get to it!
