Anyone have their heads-jugs Diamond Cut and have some pictures maybe? I'm looking at this and think it looks really cool. Allot of money for "just" bling but I think it would look cool and different. I talked to the company about doing my stuff and they said for another $100.00 I can have the "Show Cut". So with that being said anyone that has this done which cut do you have and how you like it now ?

Don't really know anything about it, Victory was doing it a while back on their Ness customs (might still be doing it). Looked good, mostly because its "different". I do understand that more surface area equals better cooling, but I wonder just how much better they actually do cool.
Post some pics if you get it done.

looks like if you were a spit and polisher it might be a skinned knuckle magnet.

Not in my budget... I think that if the cooling factor was proven to be significant posssibly.  I would think that different styles would be something, they all look the same.  Some bikes it just pushes it over the top, show bikes ok, maybe.

I put this posting on the "General" board, but was hoping I might get more feed back here on the TC board.

I installed a set of Silver diamond cut heads & jugs on a bike. I'm not into the look but I was supprized that it did look good on silver. I will say that they will do a number on your knuckles that's for sure . I didn't know there was " show cut ".
The guy said he was told these would never fade, and they were pretty darn sparkly. This was in 06

Some people like it some don't.  I had my silver heads and jugs Diamond cut and like the results.  Really sparkles when the light hits it right.  I am using silver heads and black jugs on my next build and am having them cut as well.  I don't have any pics that really show off the work.  Never heard of the show cut option before.  Oh well too late as the cylinders are done now.
Idiots are fun, no wonder every village wants one.

I thought the guy got a patent based on the cooler temps it was like a whooping 5 degrees cooler LOL.

I have had it done twice. Once by Diamond Heads in LV and once locally in Pittsburgh. Dealer wouldn't say who was doing the local work but it came out just as nice as the Vegas work. Get a lot of comments on it and glad I did it. Sets off the motor and gets people talking about "What else did you do to the motor?" I got the single cut as I didn't like the double cut. Knucle buster, sure but I use a soft brush when washing and my hands usually never touch it.
wasting time

Never bought into the cooler running effect myself. They say it causes "turbulance" in the air around the heads making them run cooler.....dunno.....

If you like the bling look...diamond heads is the only place to go!
