Anyone here use the TWR stabilizer kit. I have searched the site which shows many happy customers but wanted to know if any of my HTT bothers or sisters have any good or bad things to say...

Hey Bill,

I just put one of these on, but I've yet to do any serious riding yet so the only feedback I can give you currently is that the product seems to be very well made, and the installation was simple. Hopefully I'll have an opportunity to ride enough to note any difference over the upcoming Holiday weekend. I'll let you know.

Looks the same as the Ride st8 except it's made of aluminum instead of steel.

do you mean "TXR"? by Alloy Art?

I put one of those on my evo bagger awhile back, it hepled the handling quite a bit actually, it uses a three point system, to control fore and aft as well as side movements

No its the TWR and for my 96 road king the mounting plate attaches to the open nut on the frame on the carb side...looks nice and for $169 plus shipping it looks well made..

Gary,

Did you feel any more vibration in the bike at idle or under power?

How did your bike perform during your weekend test ride?

I have one being shipped and will have it on this weekend on my 97 FLHTC and I'll post Monday as to how it did.

Bill I have one on my 03 flht.
Tar snakes feel like bumps. No more wiggle.
Seems a lot more stable in crosswinds.
Cannot feel any more vibration.

OK, as promised here is my review.
First I didn't need to use a lift, had plenty of room to attach the brackets.
Install took about 40 minutes.
Today I rode the bike after letting the thread lock cure and I am very impressed.
The bike tracks straight, like on a rail, and no more wobble at regular cross town speeds.
Tomorrow I will run it harder and include the one turn that had always caused a wobble before, a interstate exchange, long down hill right hand sweeper at 70 mph.  If there is no wobble there then this product is worth every dime.
Later....

....to finish out my initial impression.  I took the bike through the sweeper I mentioned in a prior post and the bike showed NO WOBBLE whatsoever.  Great product.

Winger,

Thanks for the message. I am looking forward to having this come this week. As soon as its here on the bike it will go...did it require much adjustment?

No adjustment at all.  You'll see that it is a very easy install, I didn't even have to use my lift, just bolted the two pieces up as directed, let the thread lock dry overnight and off I went.
