What tool and what manufacturer should I purchase a cam bearing puller from, for '07 Deluxe? It' seems to be different from '06 and earlier that a friend has. Also, would a installation tool be necessary to install new bearings? Thanks.....

IIRC, Herko (John) is a Dealer for George's tools and offers excellent service/pricing on the puller/installer you need:

IMO, correctly removing and installing new bearings requires seperate tools to do both!

I have used George's Garage set for my cam bearings.  Was a snap to do.  Worked very well.  As an added bonus... the install 'plate' can be used to mount a dial indicator mag base to and measure crank runout.  If you have the cam chest open, measuring runout is good for peace of mind.
Oh No!

Swap meet section, Madtownryder  has them.

I bought this tool for about $92 including shipping and Paypal charges, and it worked very well.  It's the least expensive such tool that I could find.  The TC96 uses a 1" bearing while earlier TC's used 7/8" and Evos 3/4".  FWIW the Timkin/Torrington inner-bearing replacement number for the TC96 is B168.

It does.  However, if you have the George's Garage installer for the earlier Twin Cam engines, all you will need to do is purchase a new pilot for the later engines.  The remover will have to be entirely replaced however.

Blind bearing puller - Harbor Freight - 95987-2VGA - ~$40
Bearing Drift - Harbor Freight - P38145 ~$10

While mine is an 03, these are easy to use.

FWIW, from Timken's website:

QuoteProper installation is critical if you want a drawn cup needle bearing to perform correctly in an application.  Highlighted below are general guidelines that apply when installing a drawn cup needle roller bearing.

• A drawn cup bearing must be pressed into its housing.
• An installation tool must be used in conjunction with a standard press. The installation tool should:
- Have a back angle, around 15 degrees, on the shoulder used to apply the press force to the bearing outer ring.
- Have a pilot to center and guide the bearing.
- Have a ball detent on the pilot if the bearing being installed is a full complement type.
- Be on the same axis as the housing bore.
- Be made to specific dimensions, based on the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations.

• The bearing must not be hammered into its housing even if a proper installation tool is being used.
• The bearing should not be pressed tightly against a shoulder in the housing. If it is necessary to use a shouldered housing, the depth of the housing bore must be sufficient to ensure that the housing shoulder fillet and shoulder face clear the bearing.

If these guidelines are not followed, the bearing may be damaged during installation.
