I have a big bore (103) kit I am installing and wanted to know if the stock rings that come with the kit are good enough for 50k+ miles, or if I should look at an aftermarket or another SE ring set for the 3 7/8" pistons.  This is the standard SE bb 103 kit for TC96.

TIA.

They're Hastings.IMO/IME, the best in the business, especially for a daily driver.

52, I will ask the guy doing my heads if the arms will be a good addition to this build.  When I was considering the 107 build, they were on the list...not sure now.  Thanks for the reminder.

I dont think there are any real bad lines of rings out there if you dont use low tension on the street. Racing OK but too much oil consumption for the street.. 1 or 2 hp isnt worth it.... Personally I like Total Seal rings.. They seat easy and do not loose compression as rapidly as some others. Assuming all are properly installed and broken in correctly..
