I see that D&D changed the rear head pipe design on the 09/10 bagger fatcat pipe. They also tout a new concentric baffle. Question is does this new pipe produce the same power as the old design say in a 103 to 107 inch engine? What is the difference in the old and new baffle? Thanks

Anyone tried this pipe on there 09-10 Bagger???? The rear head pipe is way shorter than the 08 and older version. With 127 views i thought sure someone has had experience with it or an opinion.

I have the concentric baffle on my 09 ultra. It is designed for stock application with stage one a/c. No download needed. If you decide to upgrade you need to go to quit baffle, standard or brzollia, that was what I was told from Leonard at d&d. I have not put it on dyno but I can tell a big difference.

still works very well.
I think the rear head pipe change has helped the 3100-3400 rpm dip that is often seen on a older bagger FC.
wurk truk used one on his 106 build and it worked very good.

What  A/C are you useing ?   Was wondering if a Doherty could be used. That's what I had on my '06 RoadKing and liked it. (also had a FatCat)  So if you use the concentrc baffle you don't need to do anything to the fuel management (no Power Commander or anything needed ?) even with a high flow air filter ?  I now have a '09 Street Glide and saw the advertisement for the D&D Fatcat to be used with a high flow air cleaner and NO download but was afraid to try it because this bike runs so hot as it is.
Also, can you hear your radio OK with this pipe ?       Thanks,Brian

Has anybody else installed this Fatcat with the concentric baffle and Zipper's Hi-Flow air cleaner without a tuner ?

I am using screaming eagle air cleaner. No fuel management or downloads.

I had this question in Nov. when I was looking to build my motor. I've been told that the D&D fatcat is a great pipe for the build. The concentric baffle is realitivley new. I was going to use the pipe but decided on the 117 build, and am going with the SuperTrapp. If it helps, check out You Tube for some sound bites.
