does anybody know when the 2011 bikes are going to be on the harley website?

Usually about the end of July

I believe the official release of info is at Sturgis and that is also when their site shows them.

The HD website will have the new models online in conjunction with the announcement at the dealer show in July.  Its the first day of the show.

I havent tracked the dealer show date or location this year.  It usually starts on Monday, so the website will be updated by noon that day, which ever Monday it is....which is ALWAYS in July.  No need to wait for Sturgis, bikes will be out for weeks by then.

You should ask a dealer when the show starts, they will all know.  That will tell you when to look on the MoCo site.

The technical answer as to when the 2011's will be delivered:

Subject: 2011 Model Year Motorcycle Delivery Timing

Dear Dealer:

2011 Model Year motorcycles will begin delivery to dealerships on Tuesday July 27th at Noon Central Standard Time. Your dealership can expect an initial delivery of 2011MY product between Tuesday July 27th and Friday July 30th.

... not really.

You see, I spent today sampling the 2011 Harley-Davidson CVO lineup on the stunning roads surrounding Lake Tahoe, but I also signed an agreement promising I wouldn't divulge details about the bikes until the press embargo lifts on July 27th, 2010.

So all I can tell you-- at least for the time being-- is that the CVO folks have been up to their usual cutting edge artistry, designing and building a unique crop of custom motorcycles which will be revealed on July 27th. Until then, take a look at our 2010 Harley CVO Buyer's Guide, and stay tuned for more from the Motor Company.

If new models hit on Tuesday the 27th, the model lineup will be online Monday the 26th.  Thats how it has worked in past years--new models usually deliver the week of the dealer show.  Its all tied together.

My observaton is that the CVO lineup has been expanding.  I suspect good sales numbers for these expensive models, and presume they have better margins for the dealer than a standard model.  Just my guess, not based on facts.

In the past, CVO's in my area got called for very early.  However, my shop had a SE SG on the floor yesterday.  Its been written up on a deal 3 times, never sold.  They traded Salt Lake HD a Heritage for it...about 2 months ago.  I am real surprised its still there.  Even if it is that Orange color.  lol
