Wondering if anyone would be willing to share a proven custom DTT performance tune with me?  Now that my 98" build is thoroughly broken in and I've tweaked all I can get out of my SE ignition, it's time to install my DTT and a custom tune.  I have the software and the cabeling I need. Looking for a tune that's close that I can tweak to perfection.

My build is:

Hillside 98" w/stage III head work 11.3:1
HQ 33G cams
Wood Rebel Carb
SE Pro Pipe w/torque plug

Thanks, V1

This is what I'm running at 95" 10.84/1 200CCP 45 Mikuni. Download file and select save. Use the PC Link TC88 to open new file. I have others too.

IME, chances are you will not gain much with the DDT over the SE programmable ign.
Unless you have an older bike and have the old "dip switch" controller, then maybe the DTT will net a couple more.

running the SE 6200 rpm box on my '02 Softail. Feel like there's more to be had if I can adjust the timing advance curves. I don't feel like I'm able to fine tune the DTT using the pots. I've read where others have had better luck tuning with a laptop. Thought I'd give it a try.

Way back long time ago I paid BHK to do a map for me back when he was doing that(I don't think he does it anymore).  It was only $25, but along comes Greg and he did it for me for free and guess which map worked better?  It is about impossible to get a good tune over the internet but greg kept tweeking until it was right and after tweeking it a second time the other guy quit responding to my emails. This is not a knock on Ken as when you are in the business of tuning and working on bikes for a living time is money and with 05flhtc he did not ask for anything but a thiankyoul In my experience I had 3, well 4 if you count Doug Coffey of HQ, what I would call pros do maps for my DTT and Greg was the best that is why I posted post #3

Sorry I just got pissed when I read that reply after seeing the map down loaded 19 times.

It's all good & yr all welcome. I really do enjoy doing the maps, it's just hard to do long distance over the internet.

Some folks don't have the patience required to load 4, 5 or more maps & most times that is what is needed along with accurate feedback to get it right over the net.  The other thing that is mandatory 1st is the carb/AFR has to be in the ballpark before we start chasing the timing down.

Thanks for the kind words & Safe riding to all :soda:

I'm guilty of downloading all the maps just to look at them and then I quickly delete them before my head explodes. I even had Greg e-mail me one for my build but that's as far as I went with it. I'm waiting for the day when I become enlightened for timing. Right know I'd be happier if my left handlebar grip could advance and retard timing like my old 45".
