Hello All;

Looking at building my own lift table. I've searched the archives here but could not find any references.

Has anyone done this?

Willing to share pics/plans?

Thanks

My darling wife got me a table lift for my birthday a coupla years ago. It's damned handy, but had I seen Garfield's plans (that Dennis posted the link to) before I got it, I'd never have needed the table lift. That's a beautful thing. When not in use, you could store stuff in 'em and stack 'em on top of each other.

My lift I designed cost around $100.  It is on the homemade tools section of this forum

The link I posted was to Mokeypoole's home made lift solution.  FSG posted it in the Homemade Tools Section for everyone to gaze in awe and wonderment.

It is indeed Mike Poole's creation.  Just wanted to be sure Mike got credit for it.

Not that I am bragging, but I like it much better than a store bought lift.  It makes oil, tranny and primary changes a breeze, I can do rear tires with ease and front tires are a little more difficult but once I get the front end out of the chock and  move that section out of the way, I have a lot of room there too.

I think oil changes are much easier than they would be on the Handy because of the removable sections.  I have gotten to where I strap my bike on the lift to wax it just so I don't have to crawl around to get under everything

Thanks also to all who have complimented my design.
