Let me be clear, any motor will benefit from a good pipe, so yea your point is valid, but if I am going into the cam chest for inspection, I sure as hell ain't leaving the stock cams in there.

Will the results be equivalent without a good exhaust to 2 dynos I posted here, NO but it would only be a pipe change & tune away...

Now who in the world is going to do a cam swap and not an air cleaner and pipe/slip on's ?
Either way, you saw before and after...CAM's

OK, Classic....if it makes you happy...you can be right

Just curious....have you EVER rode an 88"er with TW21's ?  I have

Me for one.
I may do the air cleaner, but I refuse to run a loud exhaust. My '05 ultra ran a set of '09 take off mufflers. I had a set of SE something or others, but running 80 MPH for a few hours I had reached my limit for noise. I ran the SE muff for a week or so, then sold them and put the stockers back on. A little later I put on the '09's which were a bt louder that stock, but not much. Keep in mind we are talking about a mouse motor that will rarely see 4,000 RPM. I have a tough time believing that differant slip ons are going to make much differance below ~3,500 RPM, where the OP rides. Above 3,500 RPM I belive you will see differant pipes pull away a bit.

Repacing the cams and leaving the intake and exhuast stock will still get you a few HP and the bike will still run quiet. Sure, pipes and AC might do the same, but with increased noise.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

My cousins 04 deuce stock 88" with 204's made a huge difference....like in tune of almost 15tq & about 15hp. Yes it has a 2 in 1 & SE AC & PC111r along with custom map from world famous Valley racing so...lol

When adding a performance cam in like the 21, great TQ cam, real world performance, 12-15 more HP and 15-18 more TQ over stock, you bet you'll feel it!  :smilep:

I have too. In fact I own one. It already had stage 1 air and exhaust. But after the cam change only there was a BIG difference. There would probably be an even bigger difference if I had an ECM tuner and a dyno tune.  :argue:

Not too loud is a personal thing. I have not run the Supertrapp, but I have yet to hear an aftermarket exhust thet I would run.
