But one is unemployed, it is work.  And if you do a good job, you move up.  I know this.  I was over over qualified but took the job of a night bellman as I needed to work.  It took me 8 months and I wound up being a Concierge.  Best move I ever made.

I applied for a job at Downtown Harley and was told I was over qualified.  Have to say they were right..

if they don't hire because of that, no small wonder they suck!!!

over qualified = you wouldn't work for what we would pay you ..or   We cant afford to Pay what You want 

HV.  No offense but that may not necessarily be true...

For Dealers its true...for other Businesses its most likely not

in business "over qualified" = too old, or older than we are looking to hire etc.
