Are helmets required in Louisiana ?? Some sites say yes and some say no.

SR, scroll down a bit lower, it says safety helmet required by law.

However I see the site has not caught up with Michigan's repeal yet.

Looks like it has been revised to 18 and under.  Does anyone know for sure ?

Everything I have found says "yes" for helmets in Louisiana.

Hey,

Mike from New Orleans here...yes you must wear a helmet in Louisiana.

3 of us was riding through LA and got pulled over for not wearing helments.  We thought we were legal except for our speed. (85)  We were also about  3 miles from the state line.  Deputy dog let us go after we put our helments on.
