I went with the Quality lift and love it but think about how you are going to use it. I went with the 36" lift which is great but I now want to bury it into the concrete and when I do, I'm going to lose about 7" of lift. I want to be able to ride n and off without side panels etc. so I thought I would just cut out the concrete and sink it flush with the floor. If you think you might want to ride on and ride off you may want to consider a high rise lift also.

I have one, bought this summer. It's a really good lift, well made. The wheel vise is descent, not the best, but not the worst. The only issue with getting my SG on, is it hangs up when rolling up the ramp. This is easily taken care of, I put a wooden set of small steps I made to make the ramp angle more gradual.

Here's a couple of pics, I bought the table extensions, they're nice if you're doing a big job, and will have a lot of parts and tools being used.

They're close enough that I could drive and get it, saved me shipping costs.

Torqueinc,IMO, the one you are looking at is probably the best bang for the buck for bikes,I work on golf carts and 4 wheelers too and that is why I bought the one I have.

Yep, and I have some 12 gauge sheet metal too. Just at the time I first needed to put the bike on, wood under the ramp was the fastest solution...   :teeth:

Cracked Head

Greg Smith equipment out of Indiana, has mostly the same selection. If you have to pay freight by truck, prices can nail you.Best to call and check shipping cost as perhaps you could drive to pick up.Most of this equipment is pretty good quality imports.
Liberty is precious,don.t loose it

How is that hi rise lift to work on while standing, Durwood?
Oh No!

TorQuePimp

The Atlas Lift are good for import stuff but it does not come with extensions or a jack ....Complete Hyd is in Franklin not to far from Indy it might be worth the drive

I went to Complete Hydraulic and Greg Smith, then went back to Complete Hydraulic to buy. Much higher quality welds, and forming of the sheet metal.

I always thought the Complete Hydraulic lift looked pretty sturdy.  But then I had a friend who's lift failed and failed BADLY!  He had loaded up his bike and just finished raising it to full height.  He walked to the back of the lift and reached underneath to release the locking bar.  Right as he was reaching for the locking bar the two wheels that are connected to the air cylinder and that are used to lift the table both sheered off simultaneously dropping the table and the with the bike on it to the floor in the blink of an eye.  Luckly my buddies hand wasn't in a place to get pinched and his toes were not under the edge of the table when the failure occurred.  That could have been really ugly!  I immediately went and looked at my Direct Lift and was happy to see the lifting wheels were mounted to a solid axle (not a hollow tube axle).  When he told me that story it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.  He was very lucky... no damage to man or machine.  Just a change of underware required.

I would recommend steering clear of Complete Hydraulic.  If you already have one, you might want to see about having the axle connected to the air cylinder cut off and replaced with a solid piece.

Craig, was the failure recently?

Ohio, can you take a look at yours, is it a "hollow tube axle?

It is a solid axle, pretty heavy too. Has nice heavy bearings to lift the table with. I looked at all this when I was in their showroom. It does resemble a handy lift, I had a handy lift several years ago, and like a dummy, I sold it....

Deye76, the failure was about 8 months ago.  But the lift was probably 3 or 4 years old.  Looks like Ohio HD's lift is an improvement.  Maybe they had other failures and took action to fix the problem.

EDIT:  I just went back and reread the email thread I had with my buddy when he told me about his lift failure.  It was back in March this year.  I misstated that the axle was hollow.  It was not.  It was a solid axle that broke.  He said it looked like the metal was flawed as there were voids in the solid core where it broke.  Hopefully it was a run of bad material that is not wide spread.

China taiwan korea probably and does not mean they are bad quality

I have been trying to find a Daisy brand lift (yeah the folks that make/made BB guns)

Back about 6-7 years ago the Chnese guy that brings in my chinese H beam rods took me to the warehouse and wanted to show me some engine stands and 4 post lifts as well as a new motorcycle lift and that thing was built like a tank.

About half the welds were tigged, tire clamp was pro quality and other than being a light powder blue color that thing was perfect.

Like a dumbass I didnt wanna pay shipping on it from Walnut california to ohio
