If you don't have a sense of humor you probably have no sense at all.

This was my first time attending the show. I found it to be very well organized, and informative. The format allowed one on one access to the kings of our industry. It was great to finally meet alot of the people that I have spoken to so many times throughout the years. Social gatherings in the evenings were a great opportunity to build good relationships with industry folks that truly live this business, and have put their heart and soul into it. I am leaving Cincinnati having made new friends, and business partners. This has been a great trip , and I will be back next year.

There were some good products to be seen, but the one product that stood out to me was the Compensaver lubrication system for the SE compensater. This product was rolled out by Steve, and the folks from GMR Performance. This product presents a real solution for a real problem. The Compensaver provides lubrication to the crucial contact area of the ramps on the compensator. I have seen numerous compensators in my shop with heavy wear in low mile bikes due to this issue. Good job Richard, Ron, and Steve. I will be waiting for the release.

Herko,  thanks for the invite my friend. Off to Cali.........Dennis

I'm the tall dude in the blue shirt on the right.

I can name all but about three others in the picture. However,I don't want to incriminate anyone else.

I can say this picture was snapped just a couple of minutes before we all sang "Kumbaya".
It must be true,I read it on the internet.

Oh No!

I was there, along with two friends from the Charlotte area.  One of the guys with me was my machinist & shop owner Josh Cooper, so we were wearing mechanic shirts with his company name on it: Cooper Custom Cycles.

I hate that I didn't get to meet more people from the boards, we just seemd to be so busy and in a hurry all the time.  This was our 2nd time at the Expo., last year bring our 1st, and we plan to attend next year as well.  I hope both vendor and attendee attendance doesn't dwindle down any further...

Steve at GMR, Dark Horse, and Tman all had left-side compensator components and kits.

I spent most of Saturday spending time with a fairly long list of vendors I was wanting to for my little projects appropriately named Dr. Jekyll and  Mr. Hyde...  :potstir:

Sean Ray Turbo Systems, Wiseco & Tman on piston design, Dan Thayer for wire harness/ecu support, Lyndall for custom brake rotor design, Andrews Products for custom cam design, Barnett for clutches, S&S about their "new" B2 heads, Dark Horse for lower end strength, etc., etc...

Now, to get permission from the wife to disappear to Daytona for the Brute Horsepower Shootout...

"Steve Cole with his new tune files that will be able to tune boosted bikes the right way with up to 180 kpa range while using a 2 bar map sensor."

And those new base maps will also allow adjustment of the VE tables from 10 to 255 versus the original 40-127.5 range. This allows you to use the actual displacement & injector rating without running out of headroom in the VE tables.  Steve is also going to offer a boost reference signal kit, for adder motors, that easily ties regulator pressure to the intake manifold, and includes a two bar TMAP sensor. His new V-tune 3 will include all the original features plus analyzed timing reductions in conjunction with fuel changes for a more comprehensive V-tune. Good stuff, IMO.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

We didn't get in until around midnight on friday but I did manage to meet some HTT  folks and had fun hanging out at the S&S party on Sat.    I had a great time and will do it again next year.
I thought the show was good and the vendors I talked to all had positive things to say.

FXDRYDR

Had a chance to chat with Steve for a while and got a new appreciation for what the TTS does, how it does it and some of the challenges.  In-person explanation is priceless - for me anyway.

Time well spent and +1 on the value of having the opportunity to meet and talk with industry experts.

It was a pleasure to meet you guys in person.. I like these kind of events where there is no Koolaid served :koolaid:

The shows attendance was really down On numbers.Vendors and attendees.
Couple new steering stabilizers for FLH models .
Nothing earth shattering , performance wise. Maybe a S&S B2 head with 2 stud ex flange mounting.

dang one of those things you wonder why nobody else thought of such a simple/clean design

It was nice to meet several of you Fri night at the bar.  Torqueinc (John) is a bad influence.  I was over served and I believe it was your fault. LOL!!! I was in the pic Fri but was hiding way in the back. Got to put a name to a face for several of you.  Good group of guys.  Steve from GMR had lots of interest in his new Genesis cam.  Didn't know he was moving to Texas.  Good luck on your new location. Nice meeting all of you!!

AL

Now what would lead you to believe that I am a bad influence ?

Custom Cycle Engineering makes great stuff.  I wish I could afford to buy a panhead just so I could bolt on a set of their finned panhead rocker box covers.
