I like the "no fender" look on the front end, but don't like the rain in my face!I've replaced the stocker for a Fat Boy fender using some adapter brackets from HD. I want a smaller tighter fitting unit- I've seen them on Exile cycles,  but they wanted I think $500.00! my current fender was $68.00 from Jireh. Not the highest quality but took to a little bondo and paint nicely.
Any one know of a CHEAP solution.
The new Fat Bob or Street Bob (can't remember which) is the style I'm looking for but has the wrong mounting bracket.
Otherwise maybe another cheap fender and a cutting wheel. Notice "cheap" keeps popping up?

If anyone else uses the fender adapters and lower the front forks, change or cut down your cow bells. They won't always clear

I have a corbin front fender that hugs the tire. I am going to remove it from my bike & go with a street glide fender. Not sure if that's what your looking for but I could post a picture if you are interested.

Just a thought, but maybe a Street Stalker fender??? They are plasic but look pretty good in my opinion. They are a little smaller than a fatboy fender. You can pick them up new & cheap on ebay.

Today may be your lucky day (or not). I have a slightly (2 small dents) used Ultra fender (minus all hardware) that's just begging to modified and fitted back on someone's bike. I have it a shipping box with packing just waiting to go. If you're interested let me know and we'll come to a financial agreement. I'd like to get it out of my garage.

Topend95- thanks for the offer but i think i'm going to pass it to bigpete. Good looking fender! That's the style I want but shorter front and rear, maybe a little higher on the sides to show more sidewall.

Ironpig- thank you also but I already have my RK fender to chop up.

96FLSTF-that fender on ebay is the right size but a little too much sidewall. Also its "plastic" which I've never dealt with, don't know if that's a liability or not. Thank you for looking- $9.00 is definitely the right price range! $18.00 to ship, that's funny!
