2005 FLHT - Just put things back together after a 95".  On start-up it idles around 2200 and check engine light is on.  Checked the codes and got P0505 Loss of Idle Speed Control.  Checked the intake manifold seals, they are okay.  What else could cause this?

Maybe the AIC valve is dirty, or bad. 

Thanks for the response Ohio, but I feel like an idiot.  Went back to the garage, started it, still idled way too high.  Sprayed WD on the intake, no cut out.  Cleaned the TB, nothing.  Sat and looked at it and discovered that I forgot to plug the wires into the IAC!

Guess I was right then...

Ahhhhhh  the 1st rule of Fault Finding  =  Visual.       Been there, Done that.
