Will this work...not like I'm gonna be using it daily.  Just was wondering if ya all think this might get the job done for occasionally use on TC heads?

A friend who works on a lot of V8's has one and for those it works well,  I put it alongside a TC Head a few years ago and shook my head.

No, more trouble than what it's worth.

This is the one to get,

This is what I use and I added a bar to the handle to ease compressing.  I clamp it in a vise right now by I wana either make a table top stand or mount it to a wall.

I got one I used to use on V-8 stuff a couple decades back, not sure it will even have enough clearance in a twin cam head

Might just want to build one if you have a press, mill or heavy duty drill press...

You might go to your local auto parts store and rent one or maybe just the deposit.   Then look for one at a swapmeet or garage sale.

Here's one I had to make for a wicked set of S&S drag race heads. My regular S/C wouldn't budge em.

This is the part that depresses the retainer down. I TIG welded it to the C-clamp
