You're in a great part of the country for riding. Was out that way in 04 stayed in coeur d'alene one night, Glacier National Park is a good ride. I think the best ride in the North West is HWY 20 (North Cascade HWY) in northern Washington. Montana has a lot of open country. I learned to carry a one gallon gas can in my saddle bag.If you get to far away from either 90 or 15 the gas stations close early. I needed that extra gallon of gas a few times.

Welcome! This a good site with a lot of good people with a wealth of knowledge and experience.Im also a disabled vet in central Idaho.Awesome riding country!! Hwy 12 from Lewiston to Lolo,MT, Hwy 55 from Boise to Grangerville, and hwy 21 from Boise to Stanley are beautiful rides. Some areas of the state are extremely remote with towns and gas stations very far apart.Keeep an eye on your fuel level!!
