I think this is in-line with what you posted....death?
I'm not old mind you but..............
My wife asked me the other day if I have ever thought of the "here-after".
I said sure.

I told her just the other day, I went into the garage and couldn't remember what I'm here-after".

Does that count??   :embarrassed:

#1. Nigeria, need a passport Not a place I am interested in going so no problem there.

#2. Highway 16 in Canada doesn’t seem to pose any problems for men, so no problem there.

#3. Vegas, been there done that no problem.

#4. Vermont, nope way too far east for me.

#5. Ireland, another need a passport to get there so no problem there.

#6. Chernobyl, Russia see #5.

#7. Cows in Kentucky stink and I’ve been by cows in California which also stink so I generally don’t stop when riding around cattle.

#8. Italy, see answer #5.

#9. NYC I flew out of there when I was discharged from the Army and no desire to return, to the Army or NYC.

#10. Alaska probably not.

#11. Tennessee, see #4.

#12.The Northern Great Plains in summer would be a possibility for me especially Montana, and I will definitely avoid the Rockies in winter.

The FIXed news death map seems to have me pretty safe here in the west so I think I’ll stay in my part of the world.

seems a bit of a narrow minded attitude there dohmixer, if you need a passport it's not worth going there  :dgust:  I agree Nigeria is a shithole, and the reason for not going to Chernobyl is pretty obvious. Naples in Italy is beautiful, parts of almost any city can have trash everywhere.
Travel broadens the mind, I just need more cash to see more.

Stimulate the American economy and vacation/travel in the USA!

I think Americans spend as much money traveling out of the USA than they do on foriegn cars.

apes

I agree with 88b.  Naples can like that the day before the trash is picked up, I did notice in Rome that it was relatively clean except near the at the Pantheon where they had a McDonalds tucked into the corner of the plaza and  there was  McDonalds trash everywhere.  This is tax time and feel I am contributing to the America just fine, international Travel does broaden your mind...... Those who aspire to be president should travel more.

Old Crow

I'm moving.

On the natual disaster death map you can actually see the county in Arkansas where I live.  It's red, surrounded by pink.  The place I left  in SoCal is white.
But then the map doesn't have allowences for gang violence or crime.  I bet the colors would be reversed.

Oh, and right now, after a big ice storm we've been without power for over a week.  Maybe they've got something there.
This ain't Dodge City, and you ain't Bill Hickock.

Dennis The Menace

Death?  Worry about death?  We all ride motorcycles on public roads, among cell phone talkers, text messagers, teeth brushers, make-up put-oners, newpaper readers, musical instrument players (yepp, I seen that too)...all while they are driving a several ton steel cage mere feet or inches away!!!

All those places would seem like a tropical vacation compared to the streets most of us ride.  I suppose that most of you never thought of that, huh?  lol

Those articles dont scare me none, sorry.  Again, some whiny crybaby journalist making up reasons not to get out and enjoy life. bah!

Don't give Alaska a bad rap based on an island that nature is having her way with. On the main land there are some great scenic rides that can be planned. There are back road twisties to go out on, fast slab scenery and often a faster way home if you want. Alaska is not a good place to ride if you are in a hurry. Hurry will get you hurt up here but guess that is true all over any more.

I think I remember going over Verrazanno Narrows Bridge in the late 70's and remembers holes in it that you could see water.

Riding a motorcycle you might disappear and the next thing you hear is a splash!  was the scariest bridge I ever drove over. I am sure they fixed the holes by now!

Hmmm, that could become a list with significant political overtones.  Could add to it anyplace with a death penalty policy different from your own, anyplace with a hunting policy different than your own, anyplace where the voicing of simple satisfaction is out of place; also, Lagos, Darfur, Taxachusetts and the men's restroom of a nacho cheese production facility.

It's NYC.  Very high tech.  They cover the old holes with new holes and tell you it's improvement.  Howie told me once that in Latin Bloomberg means pothole.  Oh, wait a sec, he might have said butthole.  I get confused....

I think we can get him started. I was thinking how that "bobber is going to react to the first 8" Butthole he runs into there in NYC.
Those little butt springs are not going to keep his a$$ on the seat.

Guess this counts as "full disclosure."  At least an admission anyway.  Have done it enough times it's not a big deal anymore.  But I still vividly remember the first time I rode there.  Was coming from Jersey and the day's efforts took me through Brooklyn (got a good picture of an old old FL in front of Yankee Stadium somewhere), Harlem and ended up after a lot of running around have a late lunch in midtown.  But that was a wild enough experience for someone who'd only been in the city once before and never on a bike that I had so much suction going on I don't think anything was gonna pull my ass off that seat :crook: .
