I have the Mini-Beast horn on my bike, and I love it. But I really want to hide it and open up that side of the motor.
I've looked all over the bike for a good place to mount it out of site, but I can't find anyplace that will fit and still work well. I've heard of people taking them apart and mounting the compressor in one area and the horn in another, but I still want the horn to face forward, work well, and be out of sight.

Any ideas, pictures, or thoughts?

Thanks,

Steve

You have a 2X1 pipe so the area above the starter is open......don't know if there is enough room. Might be worth a look.

Steve, I bought a Stebel horn with compressor.  It may be what's in your horn.  Separated the two and mounted the compressor under the seat behind the tank.  Ran an air hose under the tank to the horn, which I mounted on the left down-tube.  It's been there for over a year, no problems.  I snip the panduits and move the horn out of the way for oil filter changes.

The installation could be neater, but it's so inconspicuous that no one even notices it down there.  I do plan to replace the clear tubing with black some day.

I've been told that it is that type of horn in the Mini-Beast, it's the way they package it up and put a chrome cover on it that makes it different.

I like the ideas I'm getting, hidden and loud is what I'm after.

Keep the ideas flowing.........

Seems like behind the right saddlebag is going to be my target area, some have done it with great results.

Time will tell, need a cool evening to get in the garage and see what I can do.
