One of my local Advanced Auto parts can get redline products, they don't stock it in the store but have it in their wharehouse, heavy shockproof is $13.28 a qt , took overnight to get it in.

My thoughts exactly, except it's red. :pop:
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.

I have yet to see 75-140 cling like that stuff!

There is a Cycle Gear store in Alameda.  They carry the Red Line V Twin Tranmission oil, which is the same stuff.

Yup, I picked some up yesterday at the Cycle Gear in Greenspoint. As per Redlines website, it is the exact same as the HSP, just packaged differently.
Theres plenty of places online that sell Redline products, including straight from Redline, but the shipping charges for 1 qt of oil were just too much.
I had just changed the tranny oil Tuesday night, tried some Royal Purple Max Gear that I had sitting on the shelf, didnt like it from just a ride around the block.   :emsad:

Truck, I would have agreed with you until I put this noisy aftermarket 6 speed in my bike. I tried the Redline with it and I can't believe what an improvement it is. It really quieted the trans down.
I also opened up Big Dan's trans this summer. He's been using Redline for a while and like Tsani says, you can't believe how it clings to everything and how hard it is to wipe off.  Trying Redline Shockproof Heavy made a believer out of me.

I'll have to keep looking for it and give it a try.
Why is it so scarce in auto stores and bike shops? I've been to a dozen places and no one carries it. :nix:

I pick mine up from a local automotive speed shop. At $12.95 a quart it's a lot more expensive than standard gear oil, so the market is pretty limited to the high performance crowd.

Strangely enough, that is one item that is not overly overpriced at my local HD dealer.

Find any gear head and ask then look for your local speed shop!
