1992 Sportster Question

A friend has a chance to get a '92 1200 for 3 large bills.  Think that is too high?

I only saw pictures.  The bike is in good shape, but not mint (tank has some scratches).  Supposedly low miles.  Starts, idles, and rides well according to friend.  It has an aftermarket AC with the breathers routed underneath the bike and drag pipes.  It has forward controls and aftermarket bars.

What is the opinion of the experts here?  Worth it?  I was thinking more like $2,500.

I'd offer an honest price of $2,300'
Start off lower, you can alway go up.
